The KPU 19 thermostats are engineered for hassle-free installation and maintenance, featuring bottom and rear knockouts, a differential adjustment dial, a tamper-resistant design, and a durable thermoplastic housing. The KP Thermostats function as single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) temperature-operated electric switches. They are suitable for direct connection to single-phase AC motors of up to approximately 2 kW or for installation in the control circuit of DC motors and large AC motors.
Primarily utilized for regulation purposes, KP Thermostats are also commonly integrated into safety monitoring systems.
They are available with vapor charge or with adsorption charge. With vapor charge the differential is very small, while the KP Thermostats with adsorption charge are widely used to give frost protection.
