The acrobatic red panda is actually not a panda at all. The only thing that makes them similar is bamboo, their food of choice. The red panda spends most of its time in the trees eating and sleeping. These little mammals are endangered due to deforestation and poaching for fur.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
